Cornyn, Other Texas GOP Members Still Backing Trump's Election Challenge

(Undated) — A number of Texas Republicans are still backing President Trump’s ongoing challenge of the outcome of last month’s election.

Senator John Cornyn says he’ll support Trump’s effort until December 14th, when the Electoral College certifies the votes. Cornyn says every candidate has the right to challenge election results.

Nine U.S. Congressmen from Texas are also backing Trump’s challenge, including North Texan Lance Gooden of Terrell.
