(Stephenville, Tx) – Erath County Judge Alfonso Campos says he’s received notice from the state health department that the county is among several in Trauma Service Area E that have exceeded the 15% hospital capacity for at least seven consecutive days, a limit set by Gov. Greg Abbott. 

As a result, Campos says, “effective immediately, all restaurants, retail stores, office buildings, manufacturing facilities, gyms and exercise facilities and classes, museums and libraries are required to return to maximum 50% occupancy levels…”. 

Counties included in Trauma Service Area E include: Erath, Hood, Johnson, Navarro, Parker, Palo Pinto, Somervell, Tarrant and Wise. 

On Wednesday, Texas Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller of Stephenville released a statement saying he had tested positive for Covid-19.  The 65 year old Miller says he plans to quarantine at his ranch.
