Texas To Get 620,000 Doses Of Coronavirus Vaccines

(Austin, TX)  —  Texas will receive 620-thousand doses of the coronavirus vaccines this week.

The vaccines from Moderna and Pfizer will be distributed among more than 11-hundred providers in 185 counties statewide.  The doses are intended for healthcare workers and residents of long-term care facilities.

The Food and Drug Administration approved the Moderna vaccine on Friday.  Shipments will begin arriving today.
