(Austin, TX)  —  Gov. Greg Abbott says Texas will receive nearly 363,000 additional doses of coronavirus vaccine this week.

Abbott tweeted on Christmas Eve that Texas got more than 375,000 doses.  He also tweeted that one of the next groups to get the vaccine are people over the age of 64.

Those who are 16 and older with a long-standing medical condition that makes them more at risk for the virus will also be able to get the vaccination.
