North Texas Couple Arrested In Connection With Boy's Death

(Irving, TX) — A North Texas couple is under arrest on claims they fatally abused an eight-year-old boy.

Irving police say Leslie Curtis and Codie McCrory caused numerous injuries to the child over a ten-day period. The boy was discovered unresponsive on a hotel bed late last week and declared dead at a hospital. Curtis is the boy’s mother and is facing capital murder accusations.

McCrory was dating the woman and is charged with capital murder and injury to a child.
