Burleson Man Arrested For Taking Part In Unrest At Capitol

(Burleson, TX) — A Burleson man is in federal custody for participating in the unrest at the Capitol three-weeks ago.

The Justice Department says FBI agents arrested 36-year-old Nicholas DeCarlo at his home in Burleson on Tuesday. Photos posted on Twitter show DeCarlo inside the Capitol building during the riot. He reportedly admits he was there but claims he was working as a journalist.

DeCarlo faces charges of obstructing an official proceeding, trespassing, and parading or demonstrating on the Capitol grounds.
