(Fort Worth, Tx) – A Go Fund Me Account has been set up for a Nocona family that lost two members to a hit and run driver.
On Sunday, a 4-year-old girl and her Grandmother were killed when their car was pushed into a concrete barrier and then rolled on I-35W in Northlake. A 3-year-old boy in the car was critically injured and had to be extricated from the car. The victims of the wreck are the daughter and mother-in-law of Craig Carter, a businessman currently involved in a run-off election for Texas House District 68. Carter’s son Rex is at Cook Children’s Hospital in critical condition. The Go Fund Me account has been set up to help with his medical expenses. Carter posted on his Facebook page “Our son Rex has survived, he is fighting and we humbly ask for your prayers,”.
The driver of the car that caused the accident and fled the scene, 28-year-old Kendrick Demon Collins of Fort Worth, was later arrested on two charges of accident involving death and a third charge of accident involving serious bodily injury. Police say the accident remains under investigation.
