Report: Cowboys, Rangers, Mavs Team Up On Gambling Legalization

(Austin, TX) — Three of North Texas’ professional sports teams are teaming up to promote gambling legalization in Texas.

Cowboys Chief Brand Officer Charlotte Jones tells The Dallas Morning News they’re getting involved in the Sports Betting Alliance because gambling could help Texas raise money without new taxes. Jones says unregulated and illegal gambling is already going on in Texas.

The Texas Rangers and Dallas Mavericks are also involved in the legalization push.
