FWPD Fires Third Officer In Two Days

(Fort Worth, TX)  —  The Fort Worth Police Department is confirming the firing of a third officer in two-days.

Officer Scott Smith was fired Wednesday as the result of his arrest in December for a theft in Crowley.  Details of the theft weren’t announced.  Earlier on Wednesday, New Fort Worth Police Chief Neil Noakes fired Lieutenant Gary Hawley for drunk driving while off-duty.

On Tuesday, Noakes fired Officer Chadwick Hughes for posting racially insensitive comments on social media.
