(Austin, TX) — Texas is creating a coronavirus rental and utility relief program.
Governor Greg Abbott says the new campaign will help those struggling due to the coronavirus pandemic. It involves over a billion dollars from the federal government to fund the program. The state will prioritize households at or below 50-percent of the area median income and those who have been unemployed for 90 days.
