Sixth Person Dies In Fort Worth Interstate Crash

(Fort Worth, TX)  —  A sixth death is reported after Thursday morning’s  massive crash on the North Freeway in Fort Worth.

Fort Worth Fire Chief Jim Davis says emergency personnel spent hours rescuing people and retrieving bodies from the wreckage.  The accident involved 133 vehicles on Southbound I-35W near 28th Street.  A total of 65 people were treated for injuries suffered in the collision.

Freezing rain and black ice are being blamed for the pile-up.
