(Dallas, TX)  —  Hard freeze and wind chill warnings have been extended across northern Texas a winter storm warning has been issued for the region.

Ice will be the larger issue for this latest round of wintry weather, especially south of Dallas-Fort Worth.  Most of North Texas is waking up to temperatures of zero or below.

The Texas Department of Transportation in Fort Worth is asking people not to travel unless absolutely necessary.
