(Undated)  —  The Rangers pitchers and catchers have their first spring training workout today in Surprise, Arizona.

Josh Sborz will be joining Rangers’ pitchers in spring training in Surprise, Arizona.  Texas acquired the 27-year-old right-hander from the Dodgers in a trade for 19-year-old minor league pitcher Jhan Zambrano.  Sborz was a second-round draft pick in 2015 when he was named the most outstanding player in the College World Series after leading Virginia to the championship.

The first Cactus League game for Texas will be February 28th against Kansas City at Surprise Stadium.
