(Fort Worth, TX) — The city of Fort Worth is expanding its boil-water notice to include more parts of the city.
The order now affects about 300-thousand homes and businesses. The suburb of North Richland Hills issued a water emergency notice on Thursday, asking residents to boil water and only use it for drinking, cooking, and flushing toilets, and to save water by not showering.
The emergency notice also asks residents not to drip faucets to protect their pipes from freezing.
