(Fort Worth, TX)  —  Five trucking companies are on the receiving end of a lawsuit over the deadly freeway pileup in Fort Worth earlier this month.

Six people were killed on February 11th in a 133-vehicle series of collisions on I-35W north of downtown.  On Monday, three people filed a lawsuit naming Fed Ex, JB Hunt, GG’s Produce, Rich Logistics, and GO2 Logistics as defendants, because their big rigs were involved in the accident.

The companies and their drivers are accused of negligence, claiming the trucks were going too fast for the icy road conditions.
