(Fort Worth, TX) — A Tarrant County deputy medical examiner is suspended from working on homicide cases after a major oversight on his part.
Prosecutors admit Dr. Marc Krouse missed a bullet that was in a murder victim’s body. The body of the 19-year-old victim, who was fatally shot in Fort Worth last September, was exhumed under court order. Krouse has worked for the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s office for 40-years.
The Tarrant County D-A’s office has notified the defense attorneys of dozens of other murder suspects about Krouse’s oversight.
