(Austin, TX) — Texas courts are resuming in-person trials.
This comes after Governor Greg Abbott announced the lifting of coronavirus restrictions. Courthouses no longer require a state safety review before an in-person hearing, and local officials will dictate health guidelines.
Courts will inform potential jury members of the safety precautions and excuse or reschedule anyone who has been or may have been exposed to the virus.
