Matthew McConaughey Hints Again At TX Governor Run

(Houston, TX) — Actor Matthew McConaughey is hinting he could run for Texas governor next year.

He told Crime Stoppers of Houston’s podcast the campaign is “a true consideration” in an episode released yesterday. The 51-year-old Oscar-winner has been coy about a potential political run saying last year he believed it was a broken business which needed to be redefined.

McConaughey is also putting together a virtual benefit for Texans affected by last month’s winter storms through the Just Keep Livin’ Foundation.
