All Texans Over 50 Can Get Vaccinated Starting This Week

(Austin, TX) — Any Texan over 50 will be eligible to get the COVID-19 vaccine as of today.

Previously, those over 65 were eligible. About seven million doses of the coronavirus vaccine have been administered statewide.

About 8.5% of the state’s population is fully vaccinated. It comes as Texas’ virus restrictions were lifted last week.
