Erath County SO Warns Residents About Covid Shot Scam

(Stephenville, Tx) – Erath County officials are warning residents about a scam involving Covid vaccines.

The county has a COVID-19 vaccination clinic open that offers registered eligible citizens the shot on a daily basis. According to the Sheriff’s Office, someone is calling Erath County residents saying that the cost of those vaccinations is $100. County officials say this is a scam and that the vaccine is free to those receiving the shot through the Erath County Vaccination Center on Washington St.
