(Kennedale, TX) — Four girls at Kennedale High School would rather play on the boys’ soccer team than not play at all.
Few girls wanted to play soccer this season because of the pandemic, and the UIL says at least seven-players are needed to field a team. So, Angelina Olmos, Krystal LaFollette, Lauren McIntyre, and Cassidy Hughes suited up with the guys and played all season.
Nobody is surprised that they played well, since the Kennedale girls’ team won state in 2014 and 2015, and were district champs last year.
