Crowley Mom Accused Of Falsely Claiming Her Baby Son Was Sick

(Crowley, TX) — A Crowley mother faces a charge of injury to a child by pretending her young son was ill.

The Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office says 27-year-old Kaleigh Flanagan, falsely claimed her one-year-old son was vomiting and having seizures. As a result, the boy spent three months at Cook Children’s and other hospitals, undergoing invasive and painful medical procedures including a feeding tube.

Flanagan is now charged with felony bodily injury to a child. Her three children, including the baby, are in foster care.
