Abbott: Ten Million Texans To Have COVID Vaccine By This Week

(North Richland Hills, TX) — Texas is expected to hit the ten-million-mark this week regarding coronavirus vaccinations.

Governor Greg Abbott told reporters Monday the state has done an excellent job at the inoculation roll-out with 60% of seniors having already received at least one dose. Abbott says hospitalizations are at the lowest in over five months. The positivity rate is the lowest since late May.

The governor believes it’s proof the state can keep opening up and life can start to return to normal.
