(Fort Worth, TX) — An anonymous donation is covering tuition for the entire class of students at a North Texas medical school.
A generous couple donated $3.6 million to cover tuition for first-year students at the Texas Christian University and University of North Texas Health Sciences Center School of Medicine in Fort Worth. That breaks down to 60,000 for each of the 60 students.
A TCU official says the average medical school student graduates with more than $250,000 in debt.
