(Stephenville, Tx – Officials in Erath County say they’ve got more vaccine than arms to put them in, so they’re offering the shots to others.

The Erath County Vaccination Center says if you are eligible for a COVID-19 vaccine to come and get it there.  Stephenville Assistant Fire Chief Chuck Elliot, who helps oversee the county’s vaccination program, says Erath County gets about 1,000 doses a week.  They’ve covered registered residents and now have an excess.

Elliott adds that in addition to residents, anyone from across Texas is welcome to come to Stephenville to get the vaccine if they are eligible.  Appointments are required and you must first register through the county’s online portal.
