Search For Missing Kayaker At Lake Benbrook

(Benbrook, TX) — Texas Game Wardens are still looking for a missing kayaker on Benbrook Lake.

The 18-year-old was reported missing on Sunday evening. His kayak washed ashore later that night. Firefighters from Benbrook and Cresson, Tarrant County deputies and a Fort Worth police helicopter looked for the boy. The search continued on Monday and Tuesday, with no sign of the teen. His family thinks he probably drowned because he wasn’t wearing a lifejacket.

Texas Game Wardens say they “will continue searching for the victim.”
