(McAllen, TX) — Gov. Greg Abbott is encouraging Texans to get their coronavirus vaccine.
The governor told reporters Thursday there has been a drop in demand for the inoculation, and the state is opening up more clinics to make sure Texans can get the shot. He also promised vaccination is the one medical treatment possible for people not to get the virus.
Abbott says more than ten-million Texans will have gotten the vaccine by next week.
