(Arlington, TX) — Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is donating $20-million to help fund a museum recognizing those who’ve received the nation’s highest military honor.
Jones made the commitment on Thursday, the 30th anniversary of National Medal of Honor Day. It was also 158 years to the day after the first medal was bestowed during the Civil War. The campaign’s goal is to raise $70-million as it completes work on the design phase of the project.
They intend to break ground on the museum in Arlington next spring.
