(Weatherford, TX)  —  The Parker County Sheriff’s Office is identifying one of the two men found dead on Sunday in an abandoned school building.

The victim has been identified as 26-year-old Daniel Gomez of Waco.  Sheriff Russ Authier says the other man has been tentatively identified, but his name isn’t being released just yet.  Deputies started investigating after a couple of anonymous calls that said one or more men may have been shot at a red brick schoolhouse in Parker County.

After a search, they found the bodies in the abandoned school on FM 52 in Whitt.
