Arlington Native Pulls Down Two ACM Awards On Sunday

(Nashville, TN) — An Arlington native is a two-time winner after Sunday night’s 56th annual Academy of Country Music Awards in Nashville.

Maren Morris won Song of the Year for “The Bones,” which was also nominated for Single of the Year.  Morris won Female Artist of the Year, topping such artists as Ashley McBryde and Miranda Lambert.

She and her husband Ryan Hurd also sang their first duet, “Chasing After You,” during the awards show.
