(Dallas, TX) — North Texas county leaders are trying to get more people vaccinated, but demand for the vaccine is dropping.
Tarrant County vaccine registration was six-to-ten-thousand a day not long ago. It’s fallen to about 15-hundred. Dallas County officials are also reporting a dramatic decrease in people signing up for their first doses. Likewise in Collin County, where thousands of appointments are available for first doses of the Pfizer vaccine.
County health leaders say they’re reaching out to vaccine-hesitant people. Texas residents can register for the vaccine in any county.
