(Chicago, IL) — A new study by a financial tech company says more millennials are moving to Texas than any other state.
The study by SmartAsset focused on professionals between the ages of 25 and 39, using Census Bureau data from all 50 states, plus D.C. and 180 cities. It found millennials are fleeing cities like Chicago, Los Angeles, and Boston in order to move south and west, often to states with no income tax.
Among the top-ten cities millennials are moving to are Austin, Phoenix, and Denver.
