Granbury Mayor Resigns After Third DWI Arrest

(Granbury, TX) — Granbury City Council will meet today to consider whether to accept the resignation of Mayor Nin Hulett.

Hulett submitted his resignation letter after his arrest last month for DWI, which has been upgraded to a third-degree felony because Hulett has two prior DWI convictions. Hulett is out on bond.

If they accept his resignation, council members will also talk about ordering a special election to fill the vacancy.
