North Texas Vaccine Sites Prepare To Inject 12-To-15-Year-Olds

(Dallas, TX) — Dallas County officials say children as young as 12 may receive vaccine doses at the Fair Park vaccination site as soon as Saturday.

They made the announcement after the FDA granted emergency use approval for the Pfizer and BioNTech vaccines for kids aged 12 to 15. Parents are encouraged to pre-register their kids for the vaccine on the county website.

Tarrant County parents can also pre-register their kids on the county site, but Judge Glenn Whitley says it’s not necessary, since their vaccine supply is far exceeding demand lately.
