NWS: Two Tornadoes Hit NTX

(Fort Worth, TX) — The National Weather Service is confirming two tornadoes hit North Texas over the weekend.

Forecasters say the EF1 twister came out of the sky Sunday on Northaven near 75. An EF0 tornado hit later near University Park. Property damage was reported but no deaths.

The weather agency also confirmed three weaker tornadoes in Ellis County. They caused no damage and were categorized as “EF unknown.”
