(Austin, TX)  —  The Texas House is expected to vote soon on a bill prohibiting viewpoint discrimination on social media.

Senate Bill 12 tells social media companies with more than 100-million active monthly users they can’t kick a user off their platform for expressing a conservative opinion.  The bill allows the Texas Attorney General and banned users the chance to sue social media companies for viewpoint discrimination.

Gov. Greg Abbott says he supports the bill.
