(Springtown, TX) — Springtown police are investigating a traffic accident that killed four people on Tuesday afternoon in Parker County.

Officers say two pickup trucks collided on FM 51 near Springtown and the Wise County line shortly before 1 p.m.  There were two people in each truck.  Three died at the scene, and the fourth died at an Azle hospital.

Their names haven’t yet been released.  One victim is reportedly an 84 year old Waxahachie man.   The cause of the crash is under investigation.
