North Texas Pools Looking At Lifeguard Shortage

(Plano, TX) — A number of North Texas cities are coping with a lifeguard shortage as they plan to reopen their swimming pools for Memorial Day weekend.

The shortage is causing many cities to limit the hours or days their pools can be open. some pools because of winter storm damage repair.

Fort Worth are delaying the opening of their pools because of extended school schedules. Pools in Arlington are opening with their regular pre-pandemic hours.
