Fort Worth ISD Offers Teachers $1K Bonus To Teach Summer School

(Fort Worth, TX) — Fort Worth ISD is offering its teachers an extra thousand bucks to teach summer school.

The district’s students are playing catch-up after losing a great deal of learning time to the pandemic over the past year. District officials hope the bonus will motivate about 100 teachers to sign up for the summer school program and help students regain lost ground.

They’re also hopeful that about a quarter of the district’s students enroll.
