Boil-Water Order In Effect For Saint Jo

(Saint Jo, TX) — The residents of the north Texas town of Saint Jo are under a boil-water order at least until Monday.

The water had to be shut down for the whole town earlier this week after a main break was found under a bridge and two wells went offline. The mayor says the water is now back on but isn’t yet safe to drink. Town leaders are trying to distribute water to Saint Jo’s 900 residents or telling them to boil water before using it.

Saint Jo is in Montague County about 80-miles northwest of Fort Worth.
