(San Antonio, TX) — The pandemic restrictions on concerts have been lifted, but musicians have fewer places to play.

Republican Texas Senator John Cornyn is frustrated that the feds have slow-walked grants to music venues.  Cornyn authored the Save Our Stages Act, which Congress passed with broad support.  It appropriated about 16-billion-dollars to music venues, but six-months later, most applicants are left hanging.

Cornyn has sent a letter to the Small Business Association, demanding answers.
