(Austin, TX) — Former Texas state Senator Wendy Davis and a top official for Vice President Kamala Harris are filing a federal lawsuit over a group of Trump supporters who surrounded a Biden-Harris campaign bus.
Davis along with Harris Operations Deputy Director David Gins say the group violated federal and state law last fall by following the bus while it drove from San Antonio to Austin. The suit says the so-called “Trump Train” conspired to terrorize the campaign bus and violated the First Amendment.
Former President Donald Trump tweeted out video of what happened while professing his love of Texas.
No arrests have been made but the FBI is still investigating.
