Crews Recover Weekend Drowning Victims

(Grapevine, TX) – Grapevine search and rescue crews say they have recovered the body of a man who is believed to have drowned in Grapevine Lake.

On Sunday, Search teams said they found the body matching the description of a 60-year-old man who disappeared on Saturday after going into the water off a pontoon boat. The body has been turned over to the Medical Examiner for positive identification.

On Saturday the body of a missing swimmer was recovered from Joe Pool Lake. The 55-year-old man went underwater on Wednesday and never resurfaced. Divers had been looking for the man every day since he was last seen.
