(Dallas, TX) — Cowboys’ owner Jerry Jones is moving to a lesser role in the Esports game after selling off his Complexity franchise for just over 26-million-dollars.
Terms of the deal sent out yesterday show Jones selling Complexity to Toronto-based GameSquare Esports in an all-stock deal. When the sale is complete, Jones, Complexity founder Jason Lake, and real estate mogul John Goff will own 47% of GameSquare.
As part of the deal, GameSquare has signed a multi-year gaming partnership with the Cowboys.
