(Dallas, TX) — A new national study is calculating how much time and money drivers waste sitting in traffic.
A report released yesterday from the Texas A&M Transportation Institute shows DFW drivers wasted an average of 40-hours annually sitting in traffic in 2020. That’s down from 65 hours in 2019.
The study found that wasted time in traffic cost North Texas drivers an average of $848 yearly in lost productivity and wasted fuel.
