Three Rangers Picked To All-Star Team

(Undated) — Three Texas Rangers will be on the American League All-Star team.

Kyle Gibson, Adolis Garcia, and Joey Gallo were named All-Star reserves yesterday. Gallo says his selection shows the game of baseball is changing, citing his high Wins Above Average ranking among AL outfielders.

Garcia is a 28-year-old rookie who is tied with Gallo for the team lead in home runs with 20. Garcia also leads the team in RBI with 58.

Gibson is six-and-oh with an ERA below two, good for best in the AL.
