Protests Against COVID-19 Vax Mandate At Local Hospitals

(Fort Worth, TX) — Local health care and hospital workers are protesting recent vaccination mandates by three North Texas hospital systems.

Saturday, dozens of nurses and others gathered in front of Texas Health Harris Methodist hospital in downtown Fort Worth in protest of the recent mandates. While some of those protesting aren’t necessarily against the vaccine, they are saying there should be a choice, and that it shouldn’t be mandated.

Texas Health Resources issued a statement on the protests and the mandate, saying they respect employees’ rights to protest, but are still supporting the science behind the COVID-19 vaccination and say the requirement is for the benefit of everyone.
