Woman Found Dead Outside Springtown Home

(Springtown, TX) — Police are investigating after a woman was found dead on the front lawn of a home near Springtown Saturday night.

The victim’s family called police about doing a welfare check at the home on Midway Road. Parker County Sheriff’s deputies went to the home and found the woman dead in the front yard. While no official cause of death has been declared yet, investigators call it “suspicious.”

The Texas Rangers have been called in to assist in the case.
