(Granbury, Tx) –  Granbury teachers got a nice surprise this week, in the form a a big check.

Granbury ISD’s returning employees were given $1000 retention stipends (prorated depending on hire date).  The bonuses were distributed Monday morning before convocation.

School board trustees approved the payments since staff did not receive a pay increase last year.
