(Austin, TX) — The Texas Supreme Court is temporarily blocking the mask mandates issued in San Antonio and Dallas.
The Court granted stay orders filed by the Attorney General’s office yesterday halting the temporary restraining orders against Governor Abbott’s ban of mask mandates. The ruling comes after several school districts and local governments across Texas issued mask requirements last week despite the Governor’s order.
In a tweet following the ruling, Governor Abbott noted that the ban does not prohibit anyone from wearing a mask, including in schools.
